#Artful lander mod
The main reason I made this blog was because this mod felt like it was its own thing.

I honestly hope this mod could become a big thing in the future before the online service for the Wii U dies off. They're wonderful people and many people are willing to help you with modding your copy of Smash 4 to play AP. The two videos below are examples and they're some of my favorite. This segment contains content I'm sure some of you won't find as important as the anything else.Īrtful Phoenix does add it's own original music to the game.

If you want to know what I mean, you're gonna have to experience it yourself. Some other changes made to make things aggressive were nerfing Sonic's spindash by removing the invincibility and takes slower to come out.ĭon't be too afraid of the DI changes as it was made to have everyone be creative. If you’re wondering how she is…īayonetta still has her combos, but DI and SDI(I know most of you won’t bother with this) are stronger in this mod in general.

Everyone has ACTUAL combos to compete with characters like Bayonetta. Again, don't be too concerned because there is something to compliment it.īesides some characters needing a rework, the balancing is overall better than Smash 4’s. You're able to act out of the wavedash at a later part or the end of it. One little change to the wavedash in Artful Phoenix is the inaccessibility of performing attacks as early as you could in Melee. It provides the same benefits as the Melee airdodge when it comes to mobility. It gives everyone a better recovery and helps with trying to avoid juggling similar to a certain game coming out soon. It really isn’t as detrimental as you think. I know the airdodge may be concerning as you’re unable to use it again in the air until you touch the stage. Doesn’t send you into free-fall while still being directional The airdodge is similar to Melee with game changing differences (of course). I’m sure most of you know, RoA is another platform fighter and an echo fighter of Smash (Get it? Other platform fighters are always compared to Smash as a clone- and this is a long running joke- God why am I like this…. The airdodge used in Artful Phoenix is the one taken from Rivals of Aether. Midgar (Gets rid of all the hazards, keeps all the platform layouts) Suzaku Castle (Adds a platform to the omega form) Wily Castle (Gets rid of the Yellow Devil) Duck Hunt (No longer can interact with the trees) Wrecking Crew (Adds platforms to omega form) Wuhu Island (Default is now the omega form) Gaur Plain (Default is now the omega form) Boxing Ring (Default is now the omega form) Wii Fit Studio (Uses platform layouts, no longer a walkoff) Garden of Hope (Becomes tournament legal) Palutena’s Temple (Default is now the omega form) Castle Siege (A little bigger, no longer goes through transitions) Coliseum (Uses platforms that appear on default, no walkoffs) Lylat Cruise (Omega form gets rid of the tilting while keeping the default layout) Pyrosphere (Tournament Legal Platforms) Delfino Plaza (Stage is defaulted to the first transformation) I will, however, listed the types of changes towards stages that appear in Smash 4.
